Modu-Prog Elevator Control Unlocking Device

The Modu-Prog is an essential add-on device designed to unlock the restricted KONE LCE menu, compatible with firmware version 6.6 and below. It allows technicians to access advanced settings and diagnostics that are otherwise locked, enabling efficient troubleshooting and maintenance.

Important Notes:

• Firmware version 6.7.18 cannot be unlocked. In this case, the system must be upgraded to version 6.9.9, after which unlocking and advanced diagnostics can be performed using the Modu-Tool.

• If you do not have a spare NV-RAM module, we recommend adding one to your order to ensure seamless operation.

• For firmware versions higher than 6.6 (except 6.7.18), the Modu-Tool alone is required for unlocking and advanced diagnostics.

Additional Note:
After unlocking the KONE LCE controller using the Modu-Prog, the system may re-lock after several runs. To keep the controller permanently unlocked, we recommend using the Modu-LCE device. The Modu-LCE securely holds the NVRAM and prevents the controller from locking again, ensuring continuous access.
